CAMILLE SAETTEL – Avocate à la Cour – Partner
Camille Saettel holds a Master’s degree in public law from the University of Strasbourg and a Master’s degree in European Law and Litigation from the University of Luxembourg.
Camille has been with the firm since she was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2013. She was promoted Partner in 2019.
Before becoming a Lawyer, Camille worked for several years at the European Court of Justice where she was notably in charge of several cases dealing with intellectual property.
Camille is a member of the editorial board of a review dedicated to intellectual property law in Luxembourg (PIN CODE) and a regular lecturer at the Luxembourg Institut for Intellectual Property (Institut de la Propriété Intellectuelle Luxembourg) and the House of Training. She is also a member of the Luxembourg office of the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) .
As a certified mediator, Camille shows outstanding negotiations skills and she always tries to find amicable settlements when this is in the best interests of her clients.
Camille handles complex litigations, including commercial and corporate litigation, as well as tax litigation.
Camille also advises institutional clients and governmental bodies on intellectual property issues. She has the unique opportunity to assist some Ministries in the preparation of Luxembourg Law, especially for the implementation of European Directives.
